“I have been asked what makes a good family office employee. After years of interviewing, I can tell you, it’s all about attitude. Regardless of technical expertise, which is expected, the family office industry is all about service. Those who go above and beyond, and anticipate – what a family may need, what a co-worker may need – they are the ones who succeed in this industry.”

Kate manages all aspects of human resources for the firm, including recruitment, benefits, employee relations, and staff scheduling. An employee of the firm since 2011, she works closely with the Family Office Directors to assemble the dedicated teams that support each of Vogel’s client families. She assists client families with private staffing and related HR requests, and coordinates the firm’s robust training program and continuing education requirements.

Kate is also responsible for the overall brand management of the firm, including website and social media content, production and design of collateral materials, and conference planning and coordination.

Kate earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Marquette University and a master of human resource management from the University of Phoenix. She is actively involved with Marquette’s alumni events and enjoys getting back to campus for recruiting events and basketball games.
