“I look for upmarket participation, with prudent risk controls in a manager. When I see a manager who invests as a business owner rather than as a speculator, my interest is peaked and I want to learn more. We know our families well, and as I research managers and specific investment opportunities I am continually considering the ‘fit’ between a manager’s strategy and a family’s goals.”
