What is a Multi-family Office?
Simply put, a family office serves the financial management needs of one family and a multi-family office serves multiple families. Vogel Consulting is a multi-family office that builds (single) family office teams within the firm. There is no one definition for a family office, and the scope of services offered throughout the industry varies greatly.
A Day in the Life
A typical day at Vogel is anything but. On any given day you may:
- Prepare for an estate planning meeting
- Compile a personal financial statement
- Execute an investment transaction (trade or buy/sell order)
- Review an individual or trust tax return
- Prepare an investment report
As an advisor at Vogel, every day is different because our client families come first. All Vogel employees are expected to dedicate the time and effort required to produce a quality product. We work in a highly structured environment, and it’s this structure that helps new advisors adapt to a family office.
